Audley Neighbors Share Power, Party, Companionship

The neighbors run power cords across the street, hosted a Halloween gathering

Some residents claim that Audley is the "neighborliest" block in town. They proved this week.

Audley is lined with extension cords connecting those with power to those without.

In addition, local parents threw an impromptu Halloween gathering for the street's youngest residents so they wouldn't, in the words of one mother, "be all dressed up with no place to go."

Kudos to Audley!

It's time for good news: tell us in the comments or email marciaw@patch.com how your friends and neighbors are helping out.

Audley Street has been this way for over 50 years- neighbors dug each other out of snow, painted each others' houses, cooked and cared for each other and caroled together every Christmas Eve. Nice to know things are still the same!
