League of Women Voters Holds BOE Candidate Forum

The four South Orange and Maplewood Board of Education candidates answer questions posed by the League of Women Voters.

The South Orange and Maplewood Board of Education candidates participated in their second public forum to answer an array of questions on varying issues.

The forum was held on Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Maplewood Middle School auditorium by the League of Women Voters.

There are three seats available for the Nov. 5 election.

Candidates include incumbents Elizabeth T. DaughertyDavid K. Giles and newcomers Stephanie M. Lawson-Muhammad and Johanna Wright. Incumbent Lynne E. Crawford will not be seeking another term.
