Exhibitions Super Saturday

Just in time for the holidays, all the galleries listed below will be open all day Saturday. In addition to the exhibitions, Yema and Oualie Galleries' will offer their Seasonal Art Show & Sale. The ValleyArts Firehouse will feature NJMAG's jewelry Trunk Show & Sale. Have lunch or dinner at Hat City Kitchen and make a day of it!

1.REpresented -- NJ Metal Arts Guild Juried Exhibition
ValleyArts Firehouse Gallery---580 Forest Street
The celebrated metal and jewelry artists of NJMAG gather for the biennial juried exhibition of their latest work. This innovative display of wearable art and table-top sculpture all feature unexpected use of materials or found objects that add conceptual meaning, surprise, and beauty!

2. TAR: An Intallation
Ironworks Gallery---406 Tompkins St.
The gifted artist mentors of ORNG Ink's free after-school conservatory for teens have transformed the walls of the Ironworks Gallery into a fascinating mural using nothing but black paint. The exhibition also features a brief video that documents the creation of this collaborative installation.

3. The Art of Terry Boddie
Oualie Gallery---540-A Freeman St.
Master artist Terry Boddie opens his gallery and studio workspace where much of his inspiring photography and mixed media art comes to life. You will also find one-of-a-kind gifts for holiday giving.

4. Seasonal Art Show & Sale
Yema Gallery/ARTSETC---540-B Freeman Street
This feast for the senses features fine arts and crafts by Catfish Friday artists from the U.S. And the Caribbean, plus African American collectibles.

5. The Art of Jon Gabry and Tom Wade
Arts Unbound---544 Freeman Street
These boldly beautiful works amaze and inspire in the great tradition of Arts Unbound, now in its 14th year serving, nurturing, and supporting people whose disabilities do not include the ability to create exceptional art by any standard.

6. The Art of Maryanne Trent
Orbiting Gallery Installation at Hat City Kitchen --- 459 Valley Street 
One of the Arts District's favorite dining rooms is further enhanced with the vibrant and whimsical art of Maryanne Trent. Now open for both lunch and dinner seven days a week, Hat City Kitchen also hosts in its popular bar one of the widest-ranging original music programs in the region.
