The Pierro Gallery is pleased to host four alumni of the Gallery Aferro Studio Residency program in an exhibition that will run from 1/ 9/2014-2/15/2014. The artists will present installation-based exhibitions that were originally premiered at Gallery Aferro, Newark, NJ. Each artist's project reflects the rigorous and often experimental studio work undertaken during their six month residency. The installations, under the heading Four from Aferro are as follows: Skinning The Image, Katrina Bello; The Edge of Pause, Marcy Chevali; Sowing Promise, Vikki Michalios; and Toile News Project, Margaret Murphy. There will be an art talk in the Pierro gallery with the artists and co-founder of Gallery Aferro, Emma Wilcox on January 30th at 7pm.
All events are free and open to the public.
