Free Play Reading and Discussion

Free Play Reading from The Theater Project

Starting this fall, professional actors who regularly appear with The Theater Project and other tri-state area theater companies we will offer a script-in-hand performance of a play being considered for future production.

Immediately afterwards, we’ll discuss with the audience, actors, director and Theater Project staff the pros and cons of a future full production of the script.

This month’s presentation is: "Walter Cronkite is Dead." Red state meets blue when two very different women are stranded together in an airport. They find the only way to pass the time is to find common ground.  The play is by New York playwright Joe Calarco.

The reading will be performed by Harriett Trangucci and Gail Lou.  Ms. Lou appeared in Having Our Say this past spring for The Theater Project at the Burgdorff Center.
