Kidville Montclair Workshop and FREE performance by Bobby Beetcut Give Families A Chance to Celebrate SOPAC’s Anniversary

This month, the South Orange Performing Arts Center has a wide variety
of special events planned in lieu of their Gala Anniversary Celebration.
They are happy to announce that they have two family friendly events
scheduled for the end of the month full of fun for all. On Saturday, May
31st, all families are welcome to join the celebration with a
Super‐Hero workshop presented by Kidville at 10:30 am. Following the
workshop with Kidville, there will be a FREE performance by fun and
funky musician, Bobby Beetcut, at noon. The gala is being presented in
support of SOPAC’s Arts Education and Programming.

So bring the
kid’s over to SOPAC so they can relish in becoming a superhero with
SOPAC and the Kidville Montclair team. They will participate in a
mini-Superhero training camp in the SOPAC Loft leading into an hour-long
training camp with fun warm ups and superhero exercises. Children will
then get to work on designing their own super-logos and masks to create
their own superhero identity. Tickets are $15 for one adult and one
child and $10 for each additional child. After your children are
transformed into the superheroes they have always dreamed of being, join
us for a FREE, “fun and funky” concert featuring Bobby Beetcut.

Bobby
Beetcut brings the experience of a true artist to the children’s market
with positive messages of self‐empowerment. He offers fun and funky
music that parents are guaranteed to enjoy just as much as the kids.
Special bonds are formed through music with original songs that are
bound to become classics with winning reviews from children to parents
and grandparents. English Teacher and avid fan Cindy Katz comments, “One
of the things I love about the album is that it makes my children
reach. With great stories and advanced vocabulary, these songs help them
expand. I truly enjoy his music and my kids love it too!”

So
join SOPAC for their much-anticipated Anniversary Gala Celebration. It’s
a fun family day that everyone will enjoy and a great excuse to get the
kids out and about! Spaces are limited to early reservations are
strongly recommended. Tickets for the gala celebration and the family
events can be purchased at www.sopacnow.org, or by calling (973) 313‐ARTS (2787).
