Book Signing! Legendary Locals of Montclair

Local
authors Elizabeth Shepard and Mike Farrelly discuss their recently published
book, Legendary Locals of Montclair. In the 1870s, railroads transformed
Montclair from a rural retreat to a haven for influential businessmen and
artists. They came for the orderly government, excellent schools, flourishing
churches, able physicians, and attractive families. Discussion will be held in
the Israel Crane House meeting room during our historic house tours, followed
by a book signing in the Museum Shop. Books will be available for purchase at a
discounted price of $20.00. Admission is free.
