The Science of Mood Management: Research-Based Strategies for Staying Happy and Avoiding Bad Moods

As part of the Adult School’s 80th Anniversary, we are presenting a special Sunday afternoon event with Dr. Jan Mohlman, Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at William Paterson University. Dr. Mohlman teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, has published over forty journal articles, is currently writing a book on clinical psychology and the brain, and has won several teaching and mentoring awards. In this program, Dr. Mohlman will teach evidence-based strategies for maintaining good moods and minimizing bad moods. Because mood has been shown to impact quality of life, regular use of these strategies can lead to greater enjoyment of life.

Fee: $15.
