WRITER’S CAFÉ FOR KIDS for grades 3-5
The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School

Students will explore a variety of genres, from fiction to poetry to script writing, in this supportive workshop. Writing exercises will inspire them to tap into their thoughts, feelings, and ideas and to find their writer’s voice. Each class meeting offers a balance of writing and supportive sharing of work. For grades 3-5. ELLEN DREYER is a professional, published author of many books for young readers, including the young adult novel The Glow Stone, a Bank Street College Best Book.

Fee: $170. Ten Thursdays, Feb. 27-May 15 (skip Apr. 17 & 24), 7-8:30pm
