As we gear up for the 2012 fall season, we at Girls on the Run New Jersey East thought it would be fun to blog about our experiences as directors, coaches, volunteers and participants of Girls on the Run and Girls on Track. We cater to Union, Morris, Essex, Burlington, and Mercer counties inspiring adolescent girls from grades three through eight to reach for the stars. For twelve years we have been striving to make sure that every girl in New Jersey is confident with who she is and how she feels.
The very best way to acurately describe the Girls on the Run experience is to go straight to the source. No words can truly bring justice to the intangable gains of this program for every person involved.
I think Girls-on-the-Run is a really really great place to be. And I think everyone should join. It is fun to just run and jog every Monday and Saturday. It is a really inspiring and happy place to be. I love girls on the run and I think everyone will to. That is if they join. “Which they should.” he he he And if they do it it will be great. And I think it would be a great opportunity to be a Girls-on-the-Run champion. I think it is a great choice to do Girls-on-the-Run. Yahh!

We leave you with a quote from Molly Barker who started Girls on the Run in 1996 and has thus expanded across the country since becoming a 501(c)(3).
“The only requirement of having a dream is believing in it.”
