SOVCA Announces Holiday Open House
The South Orange Village Center Alliance has two holiday events planned around the Village.
The South Orange Village Center Alliance will be hosing the first ever Shopper's Oasis Lounge as part of the annual Holiday Open House.
At the Shoppers' Oasis Lounge shoppers can enjoy free food and drinks as well as gift wrap and live entertainment.
The event will be held Saturday, Deec. 7 and runs from noon to 5 p.m. in the lobby of 76 South Orange Ave in the PNC Bank Building. Children can also enjoy free visits and photos with Santa from 3 to 5 p.m.

Santa will then step outside to light the South Orange Holiday Tree in front of the building.
As part of the Holiday Open House, two-hour parking will be free around the Village.

Then, on Tuesday, Dec. 10, SOVCA will hold its annual public meeting and holiday celebration at Above Restaurant and Bar, located at 1 S Orange Ave from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The meeting offers the opportunity to meet their new Executive Director, Bob Zuckerman, review their 2013 progress, learn about 2014 plans, give feedback and answer questions, all while enjoying free appetizers, soft drinks and a cash bar.
