A day of college without the stress and tests at the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School on Saturday, November 17.
Now that you are older and wiser, don’t you wish that you could go back to college, even for a day? Well, you can! On Saturday, November 17, the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School is offering a day of stimulating and challenging college classes with provocative and award-winning teachers. This is college without the stress and tests! The day begins at 10am with a class on architecture: modernism in the garden state with Dr. Gabrielle Esperday; then Dr. Arthur Dobrin will walk you through applied ethics. After a buffet lunch, attend an 18th century intellectual history class that asks the question, “Why the pursuit of happiness?” with Dr. Alan Charles Kors. The day ends with Professor Tricia Tunstall lecturing on the power of music education. Full and half day registration options are available.
