About my name and local places to go with your laptop.

On Wednesday, Patch was mentioned in a Web article that connected me with the Puritan minister Cotton Mather. In case anyone is interested, I'm named after NBA coach Cotton Fitzsimmons.

I'm still figuring out the best places in the Village to go to with a laptop and work. Starbucks is an obvious go-to, but it gets busy, and there's only so much of the ambient music there that a person can take. The Eden Gourmet cafe is gorgeous and really clears out after the lunch rush, but there aren't any outlets to plug a laptop into. And there's no Wi-Fi. (Luckily, I have an AirCard.) I think I'm becoming a fan of Hot Bagels Abroad, which has Wi-Fi and an outlet right by one of the window booths. But I'd be grateful for other suggestions!
