Valentine's Day - Let Friends and Family Know You Care

Let Friends and Family Know You Care on Valentine's Day

Most people think of Valentine's Day as a day of romance.  And this is true.  However, it can also be an occasion to acknowledge friends and family.  Let them know you care.  A solid support system goes a long way in reducing stress and helping all of us cope during difficult times. The winter months can be especially difficult for anyone feeling lonely, depressed or anxious.  If you or someone you know has been feeling that way, remember there is a network of resources and support services to help.  Please call FAMILYConnections at 973-675-3817 or visit our website at www.familyconnectionsnj.org.  Additional resources are available at www.samhsa.gov or the National Helpline (1 800-662-HELP OR 1 800-487-4889).  Friends and family make a difference in our lives.  It's important that we take the time to let them know.  There is no better time to do this than on Valentine's Day.  Happy Valentine's Day.
