Man Exposes Himself in Village Plaza, Police Say

Police are looking for a flasher who exposed himself to two people in South Orange Village Plaza.

South Oranges detectives are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to two residents, police said.

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, two East Orange residents, who's identities and genders were not released by police, were sitting on a cement wall in South Orange Village Plaza when a man walked up to them and exposed himself, police said.

The man was described as being a black male, medium complexion, medium build, approximately 30 years of age and was observed to be wearing a red sweater and blue jeans, according to a police report.

After the man exposed himself, the two victims fled the area and notified police.

South Orange Police officers conducted a search but did not find the man.

Two similar incidents occurred in September in which a woman was walking to her car on Church Street around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, when she saw a man completely naked standing next to her car.

On Sunday, Sept. 1, a South Orange woman was walking her dog just before 6 p.m. on North Wyoming Ave. near Franklin Terrace, according to another police report.

A black man approached her from behind with his pants down, police said. When she turned around and saw him exposing himself, he turned and ran north on Wyoming Avenue and then west onto Brookwood Drive, police said.
