Oranges Teens Tried to Break Into South Orange Home, Police Say

Three Orange teens were arrested after a neighbor allegedly saw them trying to climb through a rear window.

Three Orange teens were arrested, Monday, after attempting to break into a South Orange home, police said.

A Meadowbrook Lane woman called police saying she saw three young black men trying to break into her neighbors house, according to a police report.

The teens fled when police arrived and were apprehended after a short foot chase, police said.

According to the report, the three teens were attempting to climb into the house through a rear porch window.

The names of the 17-year old and two 16-year olds were withheld by police.

All three were transported to police headquarters and processed accordingly, police said.
