A South Orange woman was confronted by a naked man in the second flashing incident this week, according to a police report.
A woman was walking to her car on Church Street around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, when she saw a man completely naked standing next to her car.
When she approached to confront him the man ran South toward Third Street, police said.
The man was described as “a black male, 25 years of age, heavy set, with short hair and approximately [6 feet] in height,” according to the report.
On Sunday, Sept. 1, a South Orange woman was walking her dog just before 6 p.m. on North Wyoming Ave. near Franklin Terrace, according to another police report.
A black man approached her from behind with his pants down, police said. When she turned around and saw him exposing himself, he turned and ran north on Wyoming Avenue and then west onto Brookwood Drive, police said.
Officers from the South Orange and West Orange police departments were not able to find him, police said.
The man was about 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighing 190 pounds and appears to be in his 20s, police said.
It remains unclear whether the same man was involved in both instances.
