Second Arrest Made in Seton Hall Robbery

A Newark woman was arrested in connection with the armed robber of two Seton Hall University Students.

South Orange Police have arrested a Newark woman they say was connected to an armed robbery of two Seton Hall University students in September.

“Quadasia Hatcher, a 22 year old Newark resident was arrested on Wednesday, Oct 16 at approximately 8:40 p.m. after it was determined by Detectives that she was the female perpetrator involved in the armed robbery of two Seton Hall University students which occurred on September 26,” police said.

This is the second arrest made after the students were robbed by two men and a woman. Police determined through their investigation that Sharodd Graham, 19, of Newark was also involved in the robbery. He was arrested earlier this month.

“The victims stated that they were approached from behind by two black males and a black female who brandished a black handgun and demanded both victim's cell phones and wallets,” police said.

They were described as being in their late teens, having thin builds with one male wearing a white shirt, the other male actor wearing a dark sweatshirt with short hair and the female was described as wearing all black.

Hatcher was arrested after one of the victims positively identified her in the robbery, police said.

She was processed and transported to the Essex County jail in Newark.
