The NWS predicts hard driving rainfall of between 0.5 and 1 inch to cause minor urban flooding with a localized urban flash flood threat possible in some areas. Winds of between 19 and 24 miles per hour are expected this afternoon, with gusts reaching as high as 36 miles per hour.

As of 4 p.m., PSE&G reported between one and 500 power outages in Maplewood and South Orange on their outage information map.
