Village Vandals Steal Tires

Tires were stolen off of three cars between Oct. 17 and Oct. 20, police say.

The South Orange Police Department reported two instances in which tires were stolen off a parked vehicle, both within three days of each other.

On Thursday, Oct. 17, two Ridgewood Road residents reported that their cars had been broken into while parked overnight in the Middle School parking lot.

Both 2013 Hondas were missing all four tires and had damage to both the front passenger side windows, police said.

The Detective Bureau is investigating the incidents and police could not comment further or provide more details so as not to compromise the investigation.
