Flags at Half Staff Friday Honor US Army Private First Class Leroy DeRonde III

Flags will be lowered by order of the Governor

Flags around the state will be at half mast on Friday.  Gov. Chris Christie ordered that flags be flown at half-staff on Friday in honor of United States Army Private First Class Leroy DeRonde III of Jersey City, who entered the United States Army in January 2011. Private First Class DeRonde tragically lost his life in Chak-E Wardak District, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
