was sworn in a year ago as South Orange's 48th Village President. He was in May 2011, when the provisional ballots were counted.
"In the year since, so much has happened," wrote Torpey in a release. "So much so, that even with all of the frequent digital communication these days, it's important to take a block of time out and reflect on the past year. In that light, I addressed the Board and the public on April 30th, providing an update on what we've done over the past year, and what lies ahead.
