The event was a fundraiser for Haiti through the Carma Foundation.

Singers, dancers, pianists, rappers, orators and a band graced the stage for close to three hours on Friday night for the 26th annual talent show held at South Orange Middle School.

The event, which was sponsored by the school's MLK Club and O Ambassadors Club, was under the direction of teachers and club advisors Johanna Wright and Melissa Williams.

Tickets to the show were $5 ($10 at the door), and all proceeds went to Haiti through the Carma Foundation. Nine judges evaluated the 29 performances, consisting of both individual and group acts.
