Shop and Swap for Free at Saturday Event

Event is scheduled Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m; many South Orange, Maplewood residents are regulars

With fall underway, folks are finding out what fits and what doesn't, and what they need and want to give away. 

So, it's time for the Fall Hillside Swap at Hillside School in Montclair. The Swap will take place on Saturday, October 13, with drop off of donations on Friday, October 12. All the information is below. As always, the swap is free and open to everyone.

54 Orange Road, Montclair  

Drop off donations on: Friday, October 12, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Donate items in very good condition* on Friday and take ones that you can use on Saturday, all absolutely free, including:

Adult and Children’s Clothing ● Books ● DVDs ● Videos ● CDs ● New/Unopened (or taped shut) Toys, Games, Puzzles ● Sports Equipment ● Shoes, Cleats, Boots ● Baby Gear ● Household Items 

The school cannot take: car seats, booster seats, potties, cribs, bikes, skis, computers, printers, computer manuals, outdated software, manuals, or textbooks, and no large items.

You don’t have to bring something to take something.

 The swap always needs volunteers. If you can volunteer on Friday or Saturday, please email janeson094@aol.com.

*Please be sure donated items are clean and useable – something you would want to use or wear.
