Tickets for Ira Glass are Still Available

The Seth Boyden Series: a conversation with culture will be launched on Sunday evening, January 13, 2013 at 7pm

Ira Glass comes to town on Sunday, January 13, at 7 p.m. Speaking at Columbia High School, Glass, host and creator of the popular public radio program This American Life , will be joined by his creative team of producers and will be interviewed by NY1-TV reporter and South Orange resident Budd Mishkin. Among the producers interviewed will be This American Life’s Senior Producer, Julie Snyder, a resident of Maplewood.

Together, the team will reveal how the show is put together and how the creative team works to push broadcast journalism beyond the typical and expected boundaries.

This American Life has been on the air since 1995 and is heard on more than 500 public radio stations each week by over 1.8 million listeners. Most weeks, the podcast of the program is the most popular podcast in America.

Sunday's event is a fundraiser for Seth Boyden School's planned outdoor space; the evening will be sign language interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing.
