An open letter to VP Torpey for an update on what is being done to restore appropriate levels of train service to SO
The following update request was sent to VP Torpey regarding the newly announced train schedules for Monday January 14, 2013.
"Alex, happy New Year to you and your family. I hope you are doing well.

Given the newly announced NJ Transit schedule that goes into effect on Monday without any improvements to the SO portion of the schedule, I was hoping you could provide us with an update on what has been done on your end to help the village return to the appropriate level of train service.
More and more people are becoming angry about this situation and I have heard from many people that if things dont improve they may consider moving out of our fair village.

This issue should be your highest priority for the village right now. I understand your need to get feedback from Sandy, but that actually is an event from the past and nothing can change that; however the NJ Transit schedules are something that is real, now, and changeable.
