Last Chance to Register: Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner to Benefit the South Orange Rescue Squad

All proceeds to benefit the South Orange Rescue Squad who is celebrating its 60th Anniversary.

On Monday, October 15, the community will be teeing off to support a great organization- the South Orange Rescue Squad

If you’re not familiar with SORS, they are our all-volunteer team that provides emergency medical services to South Orange and surrounding communities.

In 2011, SORS volunteers contributed nearly 17,500 hours of service and responded to more than 1,200 calls.  Patients are never charged a fee for services. This year, this incredible group of men and women – our neighbors -- are celebrating their 60th anniversary.

Even if you're not a golfer, please consider joining us for dinner. After the tournament, we'll be heading over to Cryan’s Beef & Ale House to celebrate SORS 60th Anniversary with a prime rib dinner, drinks, awards program, and raffle. The cost is $50 per person.

I'd also like to send a very special thanks to all our very generous sponsors for their financial support and/or in-kind donations of goods/services for our raffle. You can visit all our sponsor here.

We look forward to seeing you on October 15!  Did I mention you can win a Ford Focus if you hit a hole-in-one?  I was only four strokes away from doing this last week - it can happen...
