FLASH: Photo Coverage of Midtown Direct Rep's Performance of "It's A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play"

This past Saturday, DEC 8th, local Broadway pros gathered to perform on the SOPAC stage. Midtown Direct Rep presented "It's A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play."

Last Saturday at SOPAC premiered a new holiday show, Joe Landry‘s It’s a
Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play
. Directed by MDR co-artistic director Jeremy Dobrish, the award-winning play is inspired by the classic holiday film and is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.

The show featured members of the Midtown Direct Rep – an accomplished
company including Maplewood and South Orange Broadway pros, Michelle Federer
(Smash, Wicked), David Hess (A Little Night Music, Sweeny Todd), and MDR
Co-Artistic Director, Sandy Rustin (author of Rated P … for parenthood).

Midtown Direct Rep is a theatre company comprised of friends and neighbors
from the South Orange/Maplewood area…who also happen to be among Broadway’s
most talented professionals (SOMA has been called the place “where Broadway
comes home to sleep”
).
