Due to the residual effects of Hurricane Sandy, the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) has some changes and updates to share…


POSTPONED: ART EXHIBIT + MIDTOWN DIRECT REP

1) SOPAC was scheduled to christen the new Art Exhibit in its Lobby this WED 11/7.  The opening reception has been cancelled.  The art exhibit itself has
been postponed to a later date.  The actual paintings are having a hard time making its way to SOPAC.  New gallery exhibition and reception date to be determined…

2) SOPAC’s theatre company in residence, Midtwon Direct Rep, was scheduled to perform a reading in SOPAC’s Loft this SUN 11/11.  This has been postponed to a later date yet to be determined.


SOLD OUT: STEPHANIE MILLS CONCERT

This Friday’s 11/9 concert featuring Stephanie Mills is now sold out.

POWER UP @ SOPAC – THIS WEEK

Come to SOPAC if you need to charge up and get online
SOPAC has power and WiFi, and has opened up the main lobby, and 2nd floor lobby for those needing to power devices and use WiFi.  Charging stations will be open this:  MON 11/5 - WED 11/7 @ 10AM to 6PM (Lobby & 2nd Floor).
