Cougar Claws Win County Tournament

Team beats Millburn in finals.

The South Orange - Maplewood Cougar Claws U12 girls' soccer travel team took home the trophy at last weekend’s 11th Annual Essex Fall Tune-up Soccer Tournament in Livingston. 

Led by coaches Keith Meyer and Ken Camara, the team took a decisive victory with the following consecutive wins: 

Saturday

Montclair A 4-0

Montclair B 4-1  

Sunday

Livingston 4-0 

Millburn 2-1 FINALS

The team welcomed some new players this year and the roster includes many girls that have been with the team since the first year of travel (U9), who led the tournament by racking up goals:
