Essex County OEM Announces Cooling Center
In light of this weekend's heat, the Essex County Sheriff's department has opened this site as a cooling centers for residents.
The Essex County Office of Emergency Management is advising residents that due to extreme heat conditions this weekend, the at the South Mountain Recreational Complex on Northfield Avenue in West Orange will be used as a cooling center for Essex County residents. The arena will be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
