South Orange Farmers Market Returns Wednesday

Sure sign of summer on the horizon.

The South Orange Farmers Market returns on Wednesday with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m.

"We will have asparagus, greenhouse tomatoes, strawberries, beets, herbs, lettuce, radishes, kale, collards, spinach, scallions, swiss chard and more," said Lisa Hackett, executive director of the South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA)

The market runs from June through October on Wednesdays from 2 - 7 p.m. in Lot #9 on Sloan Street.
