South Orange Farmers Market Kicks Off Season

Lots of goodies on a beautiful early summer afternoon.

It couldn't have been a more gorgeous start to the South Orange Farmers Market, which returned for the season on Wednesday afternoon.

Sunny skies and mild temperatures brought out customers in droves, eager to scoop up the fresh produce and other treats.

There was perfectly ripe tomatoes, strawberries as sweet as sugar and lots of green vegetables to be had from Stony Hill Farms and Alstede Farms. In addition: pickles, fresh flowers and plants, fresh-squeezed lemonade from Stony's, delicious juice samples from Kitchen a la Mode, and ravioli and more from Hoboken Farms.
