Story Time Comes to South Orange Farmers Market

The local farmers market will offer more than fresh produce on July 17.

The South Orange Farmers Market and the South Orange Public Library are putting summer reading in the spotlight.

The market will host a story time for children on Wednesday, July 17. The library's Teen Librarian and Volunteer Coordinator Keisha Miller and other volunteers will read stories aloud for nursery- and early elementary-school children beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the South Orange Village Center Alliance tent.

For older youth, personal trainer and author Greg Crawford will be on site at 3 p.m. to read from his book, “Super Hero Foods and the ABCs of Nutrition.” His book will be available for purchase and autograph signing and is recommended for kids in grades 3 through 7.
