Mothers & More Hosts Clothing Swap, Offers May Discount

A swap meet is scheduled for May 19

The announces two May specials.

First, infant, children and maternity clothing will be available for free to the public. Mothers & More members will attend the swap first before it is open to the community. The swap is open to the Community from 1 p.m. to 1:30p.m. on Saturday, May 19th at Church of Jesus Christ, Latter-Day Saints, 1600 Springfield Ave., Maplewood. Whatever clothing is left will be donated to local charities.

Second, Mothers & More is offering a May special,  $10 off  (or $35 instead of $45) all new one-year memberships purchased here. New members can join by visiting the Special Offer page. This offer is valid from May 1-May 31.

Mothers & More is a national, volunteer run organization that helps mothers in all the different stages of their lives. The community–based chapters and virtual networks help members focus on their identity, make meaningful connections with others, and support women as they face motherhood's challenges.

The Maplewood/South Orange chapter is one of the largest chapters in the USA with 586 members. The chapter includes Livingston, Short Hills, Maplewood, South Orange, West Orange, East Orange, Union, Millburn, and Springfield.

The chapter offers monthly general meetings. Most meetings feature a speaker, such as psychologists talking about child rearing issues to ways to save money-using coupons.
