South Orange Welcomes Newcomers, All Comers

Sunday sees a chance to meet the town's elected officials and volunteers

New to town, oldtimer, or something in between, South Orange residents are all invited to a Sunday "welcome party" at the South Orange Public Library, from 2 p.m. to 4p.m.

The South Orange Board of Trustees and The South Orange Community Relations Committee invite locals to find out what makes South Orange unique and get a helpful community resource guide.

Snacks and kids activities will be provided and Villagers of the Month through time will be on hand to give a hearty handshake.

"Great music by Matt Mattheiss will add the right ambiance and a great S.O. resource guide can help with what you need to know about your community," says Nancy Heins-Glaser. "Longtime villagers can share why they like it here on camera for future generations. Come join us - find out why you have chosen just the right place to live!"
