Office Hours, Board of Adjustment in the Week Ahead
Here's what's going on this week in Maplewood and South Orange.
The Maplewood Township Committee will start off the month of October with a public meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
The Township Committee will be meeting at the Municipal Building, 574 Valley St. from now on, after having several summer meetings in the municipal court due to a lack of air conditioning.
At the last meeting, the Committee discussed raising the fees for the Jitney pass as well as the Jitney and parking combination by $7.

In South Orange, Village President Alex Torpey will hold office hours on Monday, Sept. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Village Hall.
The South Orange Village Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at the SOPAC stage, located at One SOPAC Way.

The South Orange Transportation Advisory Committee meets Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. on the third floor of 76 South Orange Ave.
South Orange Village Hall will be moving offices to third floor of 76 South Orange Ave., which is right across the street. The offices will officially be moved by Oct. 7.
The South Orange and Maplewood Board of Education will not meet again until Oct. 21.
