Schools Open in the Week Ahead
Students go back to school, Board of Trustees meets this week in South Orange.
South Orange and Maplewood students will return to school this week after a long summer recess.
School will begin for students from kindergarten through grade seven as well as grade nine on Monday, Sept. 9. Grades eight and 10 through 12 will start on Tuesday Sept. 10.
The South Orange Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. at Village Hall.

At the last public meeting, passed a motion during a special meeting appointing Shinell Smith as acting municipal clerk ending Robin Kline's tenure in the position.
