I purchased several bridesmaids dresses at the South Orange, New Jersey store. While the staff was all smiles and polite when we chose our dresses, the remainder of my experience was terrible.

When the dresses finally came in and we went in to pick them up, the staff could not find them because they kept the back room so disorganized.

During the first fitting, one of the sales associates sat on the phone the majority of the time while I wrote the tailor's alterations on pieces of paper and labeled names on my bridesmaids dresses. After complaining, the owner did apologize, but her solution was to make sure that sales associate was not present for any of my future fittings. If only that was the least of our problems...

Fittings were the worst part; their tailor, while not technically a Designer Loft West employee, does do fittings out of both locations and she is beyond disorganized. She removed all names/labels on the dresses, was late to our appointment, did not have dresses finished on the day she promised, kept us waiting for an hour and a half after our appointment to HAND SEW our dresses.

She argued with me on almost every single alteration that we wanted. I had to take it to another tailor just to fix the mistakes.

Save yourself the trouble of dealing with an unprofessional group such as this. If you must order a dress from them, take it to your own tailor for alterations.
