Responsibilities of the department include: licensing dining establishments, lunch trucks, ice cream trucks, vending machines, dogs and cats; conducting annual flu immunizations; and investigating environmental health complaints, such as air pollution, water sanitation, heating, sewage disposal and rabies reports.
