This institute is Seton Hall University's center for research and publication regarding the intertwined relationship between Christianity and Judaism. Founded in 1953 by Monsignor John M. Oesterreicher, it conducts series of lectures, study days and conferences to inform the public about Christian-Jewish relations. The institute is independent of the graduate program in Jewish-Christian studies.
