This shop has an amazingly eclectic selection of items both useful and decorative. I actually did a fair amount of my Christmas shopping at KALM, and sang a few Christmas carols with the duet that performed there during the holidays. If you can't find it here, your kitchen probably doesn't need it.

The store, which opened in July 2008, also offers an on-premises, overnight knife sharpening service. Owner Ben Salmon is a former literary agent and lover of all things food and cooking. I love this place. The owner is incredibly helpful. He will order things that he does not have in stock. The selection is amazing. My son loves the cookie cutter selection which is huge! There is something for everyone in the store and the prices are great.

Such a cool, hip place to shop. I can not believe how many interesting items can fit into such a compact space. And Ben keeps restocking, so you're never bored with the selection. I've bought numerous gifts (and special treats for myself,too).
