The South Orange train station has direct service to New York Penn Station and Hoboken Station on the Morris & Essex Line. There are four designated commuter parking lots; permits can be obtained by applying with the Parking Authority. The lot next to SOPAC has <a href="http://www.njtransit.com/rg/rg_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=StationDetailsFrom&LotNumber=3&AtisId=140&StationName=South+Orange&parentWnd=parentWnd">264 standard spaces and 12 handicapped spaces</a>. There's no parking from 2am to 6am. There are ticket agents during the appointed hours, but no ticket machines. The station also has bike racks.
