Rent Leveling Board

• The Board enforces rent increase limits, holds hearings to settle landlord/tenant disputes and grants surcharge relief.
• Landlords or tenants can apply to the Board for a rent adjustment.
• The Board also addresses diminution of services—including lack of heat.
• Leslie Pogany, current president of the Chamber of Commerce, is the chair.
• Members serve three-year terms.
• The Board meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.
