South Orange's historic fire house has been undergoing renovations for the past six years, and senior officers and…More firefighters currently work out of two trailers to the side on Sloan Street. When it's completed, the modernized facility will be 3,500 square feet bigger and will have Wi-Fi, while preserving its 1920s-era architectural details. (The New Jersey Historic Trust pitched in with funding for the renovation.)
