From the people who brought you "Arrr! A Very British Panto", comes a new production.
The locals who brought you the hugely successful "Arrr! A Very British Pantomime" back in January present the premiere of a new one-man play, once again aimed at both adults and kids, written and presented by the author of "Arrr!". It's at 7pm on April 30th in the community room at the Burgdorff Center. It's called "LORD WATCHOUT! -A Very British Legend", and it's a manic version of an old Celtic story. Magic, romance, and a badger. Anyone who enjoyed the Panto will love this too. I play all the parts, with a little help from the audience. You'll laugh, you'll shout, you'll be enthralled. Recent British pantomime show was rousing success, and helped local organizations
The recent run of Arrr! A Very British Pantomime at the Burgdorff Performing Arts Center, produced by Deadgood Events, was a huge success and completely sold out for all five performances. "We were incredibly luckily to get such a great team together," said Gareth Jones, Deadgood founder and the play's author. Deadgood donated the money raised from the show -- over $3,500 -- to three non-profit organizations: Rent Party: founded in October 2009 in conjuction with the South Orange Elks, Rent Party is a monthly benefit that supports efforts to …

This hilarious performance will have you "laughing harder than a hyena on laughing gas."
An "insidious Britishness" is taking over the cast of Arrr! A Very British Panto as they get closer to the performance, which runs from Jan. 4-6. Gareth Jones, founder of Deadgood LLC (the company producing the show), created the Panto along with director Ridley McIntyre. Jones describes it as a "supremely silly family show," perfect for young children to adults. "Panto" is the informal word for "pantomime," which is a beloved form of UK vaudeville-style musical comedy theater. "If the shows are as much fun as the rehearsals, this is gonna be tremendous," said Jones. "We are super-lucky to have such a talented bunch of people, from the youngest of the kids right through to the leads. And all of them are enjoying it so much that it's …
