A Touch of Dr. Oz at Words Bookstore

There's no place like home. At least for Lauren Bright Pacheco, Maplewood resident and Field Producer for The Dr. Oz Show, which airs locally on weekdays at 5 p.m. on Fox 5. On Wednesday, Bright Pacheco — a formal Patch contributor and editor of our About Town column — was in Maplewood with her crew to film a segment at Words Bookstore. The segment will be part of a show taping today focusing on the phenomenal success of the "mommie porn" novel Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. Locals such as Words owner Jonah Zimiles, sisters Laurie Zlotnick and Linda Floyd, Jill Sockwell, and, yes, Maplewood Patch editor Mary Mann were interviewed by the crew. The show should be airing within a week. We'll let you know when we have an exact date.
