HK Project Sandy Relief Effort Continues Saturday

Drop off holiday toys, school supplies and food at the Woman's Club from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Since shortly after Superstorm Sandy swept through the area, HK Project and friends swept into action, as they often do in a crisis that affects the South Orange and Maplewood community. HK initiated the HK Project Hurricane Sandy Relief Donation Center, located at the Maplewood Woman’s Club (60 Woodland Ave., Maplewood), to collect donations of school supplies, non-perishable foods, holiday gifts and baby clothes. HK Project Holds Sandy Relief Drive

Donations are being accepted at Maplewood Women's Club

  From HK Project:  Just a quick update about the HK Project Hurricane Sandy Relief Donation Center, located at the Maplewood Women’s Club 60 Woodland Ave Maplewood. We are still in need of donations for our Sunday delivery. Thank you so much for the donations you have already contributed, we are still hoping for a lotnmore. We have added to the list and hope that you can help in anyway possible.  We have reached out to the Red Cross and shelters in the areas and we were able to find out what was actually needed. We decided to put together an HK Cares Package.  The HK Cares Package:  Gift Cards – Target, Lowes, Home Depot, Pathmark, etc.  Bins – any size or type (there is a huge need for bins) Heavy Duty garbage bags Bleach/Cleaning …
