New York Giants, Commutes and Columbia HS Kids Make November Memorable

In case you missed them, the month's top stories are here. Sandy dominates, with power issues and commuting challenges (that continue...). However, the month saw Election Day and school news too. As an "Editor's Pick," a story I especially enjoyed writing was this one: Shakespeare Festival Hosts Antony and Cleopatra -- and a CHS Alum It is the great pleasure of my job to watch and listen to our students, and I am privileged to drop in for the fun activities. This one, the first meeting of the Shakespeare Festival, led by beloved CHS teacher "Mr. Mac," saw our CHS kids perform with the cast and director of the first-ever African-American production of Antony and Cleopatra.
