Patch editors score tickets to live taping of 'America's Got Talent' at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark – and they liked what they saw
Even despite my inherent love as a reporter for the occasional happy, heart-wrenching human-interest story, I was skeptical of what I was about to sit through Tuesday night during a live taping of "America's Got Talent." A miniature mariachi singer belting out a love ballad? Muscular men clogging in tight jeans in front of a massive American flag? Tiny dancers cartwheeling in nauseating succession?
